Free Information Technology Education to Be Provided to One Million Young People in Punjab

Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, has made an announcement that one million young people will receive free online information technology training to assist them in becoming self-sufficient. The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Re-Skills, a Malaysian company for students seeking information online, have agreed to the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which has now been signed. Young people are going to be provided with unpaid online information technology training according to the MOU. According to the statement made by the CM, the completion of these training courses will result in the creation of millions of prospects for self-employment.
